Masseynut (Australia)--Thank you again!!! re: MF 184 3pt.

Wanted to let you know what happened. We overfilled the transmission and disconnected the pressure line from the hydraulic pump. Bumped the engine and that didn't work. Next up, I unbolted the filter housing from the pump, rigged up a funnel to get the filter full and backfill the suction line. That did take a little bit of time, but not bad. I re-mounted the filter housing, Oiled the top of the pump outlet. Started the tractor at a low idle, got a couple of slugs of air and the oil cleared. Reconnected the pressure line, re-started the engine, and in a matter of a seconds the system refilled and the 3 pt. works again.
I did pull the cover and watched the return flow while operating the selector valve and saw no noticeable change in the flow rate. I figure it probably needs some tweaking, maybe pulled and cleaned up. But since it has been stuck for quite some time, I'm not too worried about it.
Dad and I wanted to make sure that we thanked you for your advice. It kind of blew his mind that someone in Australia had the answer we needed. Thank you again.
