Tractor over heats after running 15 minutes. Flushed the radiator, checked the water-pump, it seems good. Can a head-gasket cause this? No sign of anti-freeze in the oil. Any suggestions?

The head gasket is a possibility, they can go away without coolant, and oil mixing. The head gasket could be starting to leak from a cylinder to a water jacket. One head gasket test is to take the belt off the water pump, put a balloon over where the radiator cap goes, start it up, and see if it inflates the balloon (that means compression is getting into the cooling system). Another test is pressurizing the cooling system, then see if the pressure holds, or does it leak off. A thermostat that is stuck closed is another possibility.
