Massey Ferguson 2805

Havent seen or heard of anyone with one of these for a while, seemed like they had dropped to almost scrap value a few years back but Im thinking they are maybe getting rare now and values going up. Anyone got one or have an opinion?

Got one, still an awesome machine with inder 2500 original hours. Original rear tires and paint. Stored inside under a cover. Leased the farm out about 12 years ago and just use it for parades and shows.

Had a 2775 here two years ago for some fuel injection work. Was running well when done then about 1/2 hour later had LOTS of white blowby fumes with coolant in the oil. Owner parted it out, while looking for the leak he could not find head gaskets and gave up on repairing it. Same engine as the 2805 but no turbo, 640 V-8.

Like most tractors, if it is in good shape and looks good it will still bring a premium price, if it looks like junk it will bring junk price, most good 2000 series I see on sales in good condition will bring 8 to 10,000 US dollars. That is around SW WI! Other places I am sure will vary.

I have what Im guessing is the only 2805 in Scotland, think there may be three in total in the UK.I hope to restore mine some time in the future along with my 1155 and 1150.
