202 lift cover

hey can someone tell me ....do the 2 little arms that move the valve on the pump go toward the front on the tractor?
the position and draft control arms that move

If you take the draft speed cover off the right hand side, you should be able to see the levers that work the valve. Do you have the top cover off?

I have the inspection cover off the side and yes can see the arms that move the valve. the both arms are on the front side of the roller. the implement I have on wont lift or if it does it goes to the top of travel then falls. I think the valve is sticking or very bad out of adjustment

With the cover off you should have enough oil in it to work (the oil level should be at the bottom bolt hole that held the inspection cover on). Set the tractor up so it can't roll on you, start it up, and work the position control while looking around the inside. Look at the area where the valve control is, the stand pipe, and up at the lift cylinder. Looks for leaks at the stand pipe, or lift cylinder, and any strange oil movement around the position control. You can also take the cover off the other side where the pto lever is, and look at the oil strainer at the bottom rear of the pump if you have all the oil out of it. Make sure the strainer is intact, and not full of crud that that could keep oil from getting through.
