Can you tell me the difference in the side curtains for an 81 and a 22. Some people say they are the same, some different. Need a set for an 81 but can't find any. Will 22's fit?

It depends witch ones you need the ones under the gas tank are the ones on the hood are not

There were some subtle differences as the years went by with this series, well one change anyways. From what I have seen and researched, the side panels on the 81,82, and 20 were identical. All 3 of those had the front dogleg longer than on the later 20 model. Essentially the same for overall length and hinge placement, but the 20's front dogleg were cut off a bit shorter. I think looking in the photo gallery will confirm this.
