I have been restoring a 1977 MF 245. I had recently completed all the work and was in the process of moving the tractor from one place to another when I realized the lift quit working with it in the raised position (no implement attached). It stayed up for a week or so, and one day while i was messing with it one of the auxiliary hydraulic lines began to leak very slowly. I didn't notice the leak at the time, but a couple days later the lift was down. While moving the levers that day the leaking line blew (how much pressure or how far is it normal for the hydraulic fluid to go when a line bursts?). It has now been a couple month and have since removed the auxiliary lines and capped them off and tried setting all the levers in every possible combination and the lift does nothing. Today I drained some of the fluid so I could see inside the side plate and what little I can see in there seems to be working correctly.
Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I could figure out how to load them, I have some pictures with the side plate off and of the tractor.[/img]
