Hello All,

I have a MF 175 and I am in the process of installing a front mount hyd pump for running the loader. My issues is that the loader, a MF 236, is a quick detach loader with the oil reservoir built in. When I remove the loader the pump will still be connected to the crank on the front of the tractor but there wont be any oil for the pump so I'm thinking I'll have to remove the pump every time I remove the loader. Is there a way I can let the pump installed when I remove the loader and oil reservoir from the tractor?

Thanks for the input!

I remember an old Superior loader on an MF 65. The pump shaft was splined into a hub on the crankshaft pulley. When the loader was removed, the shaft pulled out of the hub and the pump stayed with the loader.

if you plan on multiple removal installs perhaps you should consider running the loader off the tractor hydraulics vs. the front pump. loader will operate slower(gpm difference in two methods) but can remove install at will.otherwise no cannot leave pump on without oil reservoir. DO NOT use quick couplers on front mounted pump lines either
