TACHOMETER, MF 50 NOS, for sale

About 10 years ago I bought this tachometer from a fellow on Ebay. This is NOT one of the cheap imports, not one of the "all the gauges you need for $29.99 including shipping" types. If that's what you want or all you need, more power to ya. I was going to start my MF50 rebuild back then but got sick, then lost interest in the project. The original tachometer in the tractor still worked back then but I was going to make it into a show piece, so I bought this NOS one. Not sure what it is worth now but I paid about $400 for it back then. It was the only one I could find at the time and should fit other models as well. I'll entertain all offers.

I took in a lot of new old stock Massey Ferguson parts a number of years ago. In the lot was one brand new proof meter just like you described. I priced it a $160.00, it sold but took 6 months of sitting on E Bay before it was purchased. Consumers today are so price driven that many of them do not care about quality and originality of the product but only the price. Maybe you'll get the original $400 that you paid 10 years ago, but it will take a while.

A picture of the gauge in your posting certainly would be worth a lot since people are very visual.

It's not a sellers market these days, with money being tight for everyone these days they are looking for a bargain. It may also depend if its for a gas, or a diesel 50. If I had it, and wasn't hurting for money I'd hold on to it, and or put it up for sale for the same amount for I paid for it. I can't see letting for a lot cheaper than what you paid for it.
