More 5455 questions

This is concerning a 16 x 16 speedshift with mechanical shuttle. From parts diagrams I see a planetary unit, a clutch pack with two discs and three plates. Another clutch with a single disc. Is this clutch spring applied and hydraulically released(or the other way around)?
Hoping someone here might be able to give me a quick rundown on how this works. Assuming it's controlled by solenoid valve(s) Is there signal and pressure applied in both rabbit AND turtle, but in different places, or maybe just in one range or the other?

It seems there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise displayed here every day. In this case however, it appears that either no one out there understands this particular system, or cares to share the information.

Most here are familiar with the older Massey Ferguson's as your 5455 is still brand new for most of us. It may take a little time for someone with experience on the newer tractors to help you out.

Point well taken, but I notice quite often that questions concerning ten year old Deere or New Holland tractors generate much more
response. I do understand that market share enters into the equation.
As they say, patience is a virtue.

I was going to suggest trying tractor by net, but I see you have asked there also. For me a tractor is too new is when they just started putting pollution controls on tractors. Many years ago we used to joke about diesels having to use "diesel exhaust fluid", now its no joke.
