tappet clearance

i see it calls for .013 clearance for tappets intake and exhaust hot. does anyone know what a cold setting may be as I have the gas tank off?

as a rough setup I always add 3-4 thou to hot valve clearances setup a remote fuel tank place
valve cover on and rum until up to runnig temp then regap to spec
anything else is just a guess as each valve will expand differant than the others to some degree
take your time and do it right the 1st time

According to my calculations, a push rod should get about .001 per foot of push rod length per 100 degrees of temperature rise.

This is using 6.7 x 10 -6 as a coefficient.

I would loosen them about a couple of thousandths cold
