MF 65 loader hydraulic quick couplers.

Hi guys, I have a 1965 mf 65 gas with a Davidson model 99 loader. I would like to add quick couplers to the loader for the bucket cylinder. I don't know anything about hydraulic fittings. Do I just buy 1/2" quick couplers? Thanks.

I like to go one size lager than the hoses for quick couplers. Just my opinion.

Hi, if you are using the tractor's internal pump as your oil supply then a 3/8" coupler will be sufficient for the
supply line. It is always a good idea to go one size larger as Phil has suggested for the return line. This prevents
any back-pressure in the system and prevents you connecting them the wrong way round.
