MF 203 Restoration PICS

The machine shop is done with the engine. I had them do a complete overhaul. Also had the injectors and injector pump rebuilt. This was more of a mechanical restoration than a cosmetic one. It is just painted with tractor supply Caterpillar yellow spray paint but it came out pretty good. Massey wanted too much for Massey Industrial yellow. I hope to get the tires back on tomorrow. They were only half filled with liquid so I had them topped off. Should be interesting rolling them back in place. Put new brakes pad on and replaced the oil seals, the brakes were coated in oil. There is still quite a bit of work to do like the entire electrical system and replacing all the lines on the loader.

A beauty. May I recommmend one safety item? That concrete block is dangerous to me. I tell guys, take a 3-lb. hammer and haul off and whack some 6x6 wood cribbing. Nothing will happen. Haul off and whack a concrete block standing up like you have there. Real drama. A concrete block is fragile as fine crystal, IMHO.

The picture is actually misleading. That front block is not supporting the tractor. When I removed each rear axle it became front heavy so I had to quickly find something to put under the front end. I agree safety comes first and wood is the way to go.
