1800 MF sad ending

I went to a sale a few weeks back. They had an 1800 MF 4wd. I can remember it running before the owner died 10 or 15 years ago. Anyway the front rims were rusted out, it was in the back of the machine shed and it was 30 miles from home. I thought about bidding it to use for pulling a chisel plow and taking it to the Massey expo in 2016 but not knowing if it would run or had any serious problems I figured I didn't need anymore projects. It sold for $250! A local scrapper bought it. I saw him later and asked if he got the Massey home. He replied" yeah, that was quite a project"! I found out later he cut it up to move it. I was hoping it was intact and might find a new home.

That was cheap! The Hi Lo gears could be out. The salvage yards don't even carry them anymore, all cut up the last 3 years.
