MF Super 90 tranny fluid

Doing a full service on my Super 90. Manual says tranny, hydraulics, and ps get type A ATF. I have a 55 gallon drum of type F. Any reason why the type F won't work fine. I know I can buy dextron or whatever replaced type A but I don't want to if what I've got will work.

Stay with the type A. Not sure if I was told correctly years ago that the type F has fine abrasive in it for the clutch packs to lock better. If so you don't want that oil in the power steering system. Even some steering systems called for type A fluid..
