BRAKES ON A MASSEY INDUSTRIAL 50HX 4X4

Do any of you folks know how difficult it is to repair replace the brakes on these tractors.. Master cylinder has been damaged and no brakes for an extended period of time.
Can you remove the rear tire an have the brake drum right there or is it an internal application. Thank for any help

There are disks inside the rear axle housings. There is one version of a 50HX that is equipped with dual brakes, regular drum brakes by the wheels along with the internal disks in the axle housing. Its not a easy, or quick job even if you have done a few of them. A good shop manual is a must if you are going to try to do it yourself.
