Super 90 head gasket

I see gasket kits for 318 Perkins but none for the A300. Do they name the same head gasket? I remember the gaskets fitting the head bolts but is the bore different?

Both use the same gasket, and it's been updated a few times. Think I have a new one on the shop wall. After you replace it make sure it gets retorqued when hot. I'd replace the nuts too with the Hi nuts like Lawson has, they are thicker and there's room for them anyway..

Thanks Dieseltech, mine crapped out between the first and 2nd cylinder. I saw a set on eBay for 47.00 or should I just go to Massey? What's a good source for the Lawson nuts you mention. I put a head gasket in it 5 years ago when I had a cracked sleeve. What's your take on getting the injectors cleaned and tested as long as its apart? Thanks again! Good people on here, that's why I stick around here!

I can clean, test and reset the injectors, and replace the tips if needed. I'd use only the latest gasket from MF/Perkins. I know I have some extra Lawson Hi nuts, but not sure I have enough left. That's what I use on the S90 puller engine, didn't make sense to have the block studs about .700 inch and the stock nuts at about .400 thick, leaving some unused threads above the nut not being utilized. Make sure there is no block damage between the sleeves, and the head too. If the area is torched out when the gasket blew NO gasket will hold again..
