MF 35 ID numbers

myself and some one else are a wee bit confused about the numbers on my MF 35.
here goes:
MF 35
SGM 208XXX 1960
eng ser no 702229 oct 1959
trans casting code F-2-1 jun-2-1961
diff casting code L-14-H nov 14 ?????

I have read that casting numbers are supposed to be a letter followed by two numbers. both me and my wife agree on the casting codes. so what's with the trans casting code being letter-number-letter???

The transmission should have a serial number something like CQ11343. The differential parts goes off the tractor serial number. The casting codes are kind of irrelevant.

the trans and diff have two numbers. the casting dates numbers and parts numbers. the trans itself may have a number but that would be on the tranny itself which is inside the tractor.
