I have an old mf 203 workbull tractor. When I first got tractor it had a broke steering jack.I replaced it and then fluid was coming out of steering column so I replaced the seal and that fixed that but tractor was still very hard to steer. Took pump apart to find out it was shot so I got new pump and put on this evening and that fixed the hard steering now you can steer with one finger. The problem now is that going down the road you can't hardly hold it because it darts back and forth theare are a lot of play in wheel before it moves but once it does it starts darting. Any comments on how to tighten things up some . Can live with it at slow speeds but hard to hold going down the road in high.

sounds like you have some wear in the steering, worn at one point and binding at another, tie rods, axle pivot, possible bad spindle bushings and thrust bearings also depending on what type steering set-up you have cylinder tie-rod ends or pins and bushings some have a shaft with bushings going from the cylinder to the tie-rods with an arm on each end when worn bad will create a lot of play in the steering, I'm not that familiar with your tractor but these are the places to start looking
