Rear tire repair on 1965 MF 135 tractor

I had a new rear tire & tube replaced 2 yr. ago by Coop. After mowing about 2 acres this summer the tire started leaking water around the valve stim. Since I don't see any other leaks around the rim or on the tire tread, I suspect the leak may have been created by the tire rim. Is there a liner or some other things that can be done to solve the possible rim problem? Thanks Bill H.

First you need to find the source of the leak. Take the tire off of the rim and find out if is against the rim or around the tread, if the rim is rusted either replace or remove rust and paint rim, fix tube and put tube and tire back on, air up and you should be good

After cleaning up the rim, I like to wind a roll of duct tape around it to use as a liner between the rim and tube to prevent chafing. Seems to work pretty good.
