I have an elderly lady here in town ask me to try and find out what a couple of her old tractors are worth that belonged to her late husband. One is a Massey 444 and a Minnie Moline 44. I have not seen tractors, but know they have not been ran in 10 years. the man wanting to buy them wants her to shoot him a price and she has no idea where to start. If any of you have what to look for good and bad and a ball park or where we could go to find avg price for the current non running cond. Thank you.

No experience with either model but condition of rear tires can add 1k to price. With a non runner you are looking at scrap metal price of less than 500.Best to hire a mechanic to get them running first.

I think the 444 will bring a little more, I would guess 1000-1500 non running.

I recently worked on a Farmall 400 for a man who bought it in a sad, non-running condition for $1,500. I would consider them to be about equal in value. The live pto in a 400 is an advantage, but the t/a is not in my opinion.
