MF30 Hydraulic pump replacement

My old pump failed so I bought a replacement pump pt No 300402
which fits many types of MF and also Ford.
My problem is that I cannot attach the pump using the 2 bolts as the space is so tight that the slots for the bolts do not quite line up with the threaded holes on the tractor.

What should I do - file the 2 slots to allow space for the 2 bolts.

Any advice would be appreciated

Any chance you can share a picture of the situation so we can give better advice?

1) Where did you buy the pump?

2)Have you called the vendor and let them know about the problem with the product?

3) What solutions has the vendor offered?

I don't have a picture, but I can say that the pump is slightly bigger than the original L series gear pump - I haven't called the vendor as yet
I bought the pump from the states and did some checking on the pump model to confirm it is suitable for MF30.

Thanks Bob, I did end up grinding out some material to allow the 2 fixing bolts to locate on the tractor body.

After connecting up the inlet and outlet hoses I find still have no lift from the loader. My reservoir is low which I'm aware can prevent lift, is there anything else that I should check before I top up the fluid and try again?

Did some further research on the lack of lift, it could be a drive shaft coupling problem which from the manual appears to be a friction fit to the end of the drive shaft. - I will check this before adding more fluid
