When the bearings blew out on one hub, I decided to replace them on both sides at the same time. Come to find out, the hubs on this '63 tractor are different. I over looked the first give away (one hub is red and the other's grey) when I started. The second give away is the hang up. The seal won't fit in the hub. I verified with calipers that the hub is slightly under-sized.
The bearings and races that came off of both hubs have the same numbers, but the grease seals are different. One is 6336 and the other is 6336-5. I am trying to replace both sides with Part No: WBKMF1 ordered from Yesterday's Tractors.
Did someone substitute parts leading to the failure?
I'm stumped on how to get this back together.
