mh 30 rear wheel

I need help. I'm trying to get a rear wheel off of my mh 30. I've got the wheel weights off, got the nine bolts loose that hold the rim to the hub and got the big four bolts that hold the cap on the hub-- after a couple of days. Now I realize that the wheel comes off the hub on the inside-- I need to get the hub off the axle to get the wheel off. There are two slots-- is there a key? It looks like there might be If so, how does one remove the key? It looks like the hub has been on the axle for about fifty years-- any helpful hints?

Put the wheel lug nut or bolts back on but not more then just finger tight. On the axle hub put those bolts back in place but leave them loose and take it for a drive. The drive should loosen every thing up pretty fast. Just pay close attention to that wheel and do not drive it to far before checking it

There is a key that's originally pinned to the hub so they slide together, but the pin sometimes breaks. Hubs can be tough to move sometimes, and a heavy puller may be needed.

They can be a bear to get moving, shine up the axle shaft as best as you can. Then a little heat to break the rust free and soak some wd-40 etc in. Be careful using a bfh, as hitting too hard in the wrong spot can break stuff.

WD-40 does little or nothing to free up rusted parts. WD stand for water displacement formula 40
