Massey Harris 44 Tank and Frame needed

Anybody have a 1948 Massey Harris 44 main tank and frame in good condition you might want to sell? My tank is rusted pretty bad. My frame is cracked in multiple locations from fatigue, and would cost a small fortune to weld. I also need these to be within a reasonable distance to North Alabama so that I can pick them up. I appreciate any replies. Have a blessed weekend and upcoming week.

I have one I would give you, but it looks in poor shape, do not know if it is any better than the one you have, probably go on scrap pile.

Weren't the 44's made with both the long frame and short frame? I seem to remember that a 44 standard was the same wheelbase as a 30 and 33 standard. Of course, the row crop 33 or 44 would be longer; wasn't there some discussion on here some time ago that the 44 frames were heavier, i.e. thicker than a 30's? I learn something here everyday!

Thanks for the reply David. My 44 was broken in two (right below the driveshaft)sometime in the last 45 years and welded back together. I believe it was arc welded and then rebar and plate steel was welded over in a fishplate fashion. I just noticed some of the welds are separating from the fishplates, so I think replacing the frame is a better idea. I'll upload some pics later. Thanks...

The 33s had 2 different tanks at least on the row crops!! I have 2 33s, a 1953 and 1954 and the fill is located in different locations, one in the middle and the other is towards the rear, not sure which is which!!
