steering box seal for the levershaft assembly (mf65 )

Ordered a new seal, part # 1751733m1 calls for in the manual, but received part # 8044778 from dealership.
Do these parts match?

The only difference between the Hesston seal 8044778, and the MF seal 1751733M1 is that the Hesston seal is 5/16 inch wide while the MF seal is 1/2" wide. The id, and od are the same. I'd put it in, and add a extra felt washer to keep any dirt away from the deal.
