Perkins part

I am having the engine on my 65 overhauled at a machine shop. This is the AD4-203 direct injection diesel engine. The shop owner called today and suggested that the shims and locks on the crankshaft main bearing caps be replaced. I called MF and was told NLA from Massey. I have googled the MF part number as well as the Perkins part number with no luck. The following numbers are from my MF 65 parts book, 733 928 M1, 731 023 M1, and the Perkins numbers are 33117118, and 0921108. The shims are 19/32x7/8x020 and are very hard. Does anyone know of a replacement that would work? Thanks for any help.

Depot parts shows the first number(shims) quantity of 51 in stock. However the locks are not available. You will have to go thru a dealer to get the shims.

Thanks for the reply MF Rules, Is that the company in Chilton, WI that only dealers can buy from?

Yup, they buy out old discontinued dealer stock of slow moving or obsolete parts......you can look up parts availability but only your local dealer can purchase the parts.
