MF 135 Identification

Can someone assist with the model of this MF 135
Petrol motor
I'm in Australia

1st pic is a tag just above the hand throttle on the dash.
2nd is engine number from right side of the Bilchrome 4 cyl.
Just fitted an alternator to it and am having some irregular voltage readings across the new battery.
Is there a post area i can research this.

It looks like a 35, the predecessor of the 135.

The hood looks like what be a GB 135. Bilchrome is the foundry that cast the block, since it's a 4 cylinder I would imagine its a "clone" of the Z series Continental gasser.

No it's a 135
Unless someone has added all the 135 body work to it.

It's very possible someone could have changed the sheetmetal, that's basically what MF did when they went from the 35 to the 135. The tag below the dash will have 35, or 135 with a serial number.
