I am rebuilding a worn out Independent PTO clutch. The hydraulic pressure was about 150 lb. before I started. I have read that this should be around 300-600 lbs. Should I be replacing the auxiliary HHY PUMP. this TRACTOR IS A 265. I CHECKED ONE OF MY 165'S AND IT WAS IN THE 120-150 neighborhood. Thanks for any help you can give me. Bill

There are two relief valves, the pump is higher than the main one that controls the IPTO and MP clutch if equipped which is on top of the PTO input shaft retainer at transmission front. 150 to 200 psi is what sticks in my mind for the clutches to hold, but check the service books to be sure. I know the pump valve seldom opens since the pressure is set by the front valve.
