i have a question. how do you adjust the linkage for the clutch. this tractor had a cable. that goes to a lever with a bolt and nut. the arm is slotted. any how. maybe i put to much tension on the spring that wraps around the shaft with the shift fork is on. any help would me very helpful.. thank you..

Do not know, but the clutches / pressure plates I've adjusted had to be done the way the manual said. The ones I've worked on were each very different. Easy to say it, but I'd recommend a manual.
