Massey Harris

I have a couple nice old Massey Harris tractors, a 33 and a 44. I am restoring both for show and pulling. I seem to recall a model that had a 6 cylinder chrysler engine. Am I nuts or is this correct? I cannot find any info online about a chrysler engine in one. Thanks, JC

The 101 Senior and the 44-6 had the 226 cu. in. Continental engine. The 101 Super had the Chrysler engine. Early ones had the 201 engine and later ones had the 217 cu. in. engine.

Any of the Massey tractors with flathead sixes (101 Sr. , 101 Super, or 44-6) were all as smooth as butter and very pleasant to drive tractors!

Regards,

Goldsburg

If the distributor runs up through the head it is a continental. Chrysler's distributor runs out the side of the block.
