Help figuring brand/model of plow!!!

I once seen a picture of a plow being pulled by a general purpose 4wd Massey Harris. I believe it was either a 2 or 3 bottom plow.
Where the coulters woulda been positioned on the frame sat gearboxes for each bottom. All gearboxes were linked together and ran off the pto of the tractor. On the underside of gearboxes sat a propeller type blade setup that spun as the plow was being pulled thru field to possibly level out dirt chunks???
I'm guessing it was a Massey Harris plow but again not sure!?
Has anyone ever seen or know what type plow I'm talking about......it must be rare cause I've never seen another one since!? Wish I could remember where I seen it!!!
Thanks

I will bet you are talking about a 'terracer'. There was one at the Ferguson meet in Ohio a couple years ago, it was made in Texas. Works like a gravely 'rotary plow'.
Post this on the Harry ferguson forum too, see if someone has a picture of it

I just looked up images of a terracer plow and that's not it. The plow I seen had a helicopter type blade setup that spun. A terracer plow has a auger screw type leveler that spins. Not the same as I had seen.

Tony,
I did alittle more research on this terracer plow. Massey Harris built such a implement and attempted to market it......unfortunately with little success which brings reason to why they are so rarely seen! Not sure but thought I read somewhere that Massey called it a pulverizer plow???
As you replied to my question earlier you were right, must have been the plow I saw pictured!?
Here's a few pictures of a terracer plow I ran across......

How's that for proper english j*ckof*!!!

Southwest Plow built the Terracing Plow in Dallas Texas. They were used after the dust bowl to keep the land from blowing away and help erosion. I still have terrace on my land that was built years ago when it was farmed in cotton. Still a lot of the plows setting around in these parts.

So did southwest plow build them for other companies like Massey and international?
