Slow burn

Where can I get break pads for my 1949 MH 44. Ordered 3
sets and holes don't line up to rivet them on. I don't want to
redrill the holes to fit as with an oblonged hole the rivets don't
stay tight. Any one know where I can get brakes to fit without
modification?

I am having a set religned right now with bonded linings at Brake Materials and Parts in Fort Wayne, IN. They actually bond all of their linings and will only ADD rivets upon request.

They are band brakes. I got the liners from Steiner. And the say the holes will need drilled off a 32nd but when I lay the liner on the band each rivet hole is a half hole or more off. I would say each holes are approximately 1/4 in off.

Could you please post a picture of your band brakes? I have a 1949 MH44 and it has drum brakes. I have just never seen band brakes on a 44.

Thanks,

Goldsburg
