I think the best thing to do is look for a parts tractor on craigslist, where do you live? If not, I would start
calling salvage yards and see whats available. I think it would be best to get a complete unit and not try to piece together. I know there are more than one p/s manufacturer. I also believe they are different between diesel/gas. I will try to find out if a mf 65 p/s will work on a 50. They look the same to me. The big problem is they are scarce and pricey. You will also need a new steering arm(62)so you will remove the one on your manual steering arm.
I can try some people I know for p/s. The change over is pretty easy better than half a day.
