hello everyone new member and need a little help.my engine won't stop when i pull the kill lever. it's a diesel. thanks

Hi, did someone have the top off the injection pump and not get the shutoff cam in the proper place?

See youtube video on MF35 injection pump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhFGrLtOBO8

I don't know if the tops been off or not, Ive owned the tractor about a year. the kill leaver hasn't worked since Ive owned it. the leaver looks like its hooked up right. is it a big deal to pull the top off? thanks

Hi, I am just guessing that the kill shaft pin is not in the notch in the kill shaft lever.
See parts diagram at: http://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr63304ar1274532

One of the common problems on this model of CAV/DPA injection pump is if the tractor sits for long periods of time without be
started the metering valve item #40 sticks closed and the engine will not start.

Item #35 is the kill shaft, item #16 is the kill level. On the bottom of the kill shaft is a pin that must fit in hook end of
kill lever.
If you view the video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhFGrLtOBO8 you will see that when the man is re-installing the top
cover on the pump it takes him a couple tries to get the kill shaft pin and lever aligned. Also take note how he adjust the kill
pull rod.

If you decide to remove the top cover of the pump, the most important thing is CLEAN everything first and keep it CLEAN.
If you are lucky, you may only need to raise the front of the top cover to peek in there to align the kill shaft pin and kill
shaft.
But as a minimum you will have to bleed the injection pump bleed screw on the top cover of the pump,

thanks everyone for the help, i got the kill lever working.the only thing i forgot witch hole the gov spring went in. i know it was in # 3 hole on the throttle but not sure on gov. the # 2 hole looked like it had a little ware so that is where i put it. The tractor runs good so i guess I was lucky. what wood it have done if it was the wrong hole? :oops:
