I hope some of you guys can help me figure out why my King Kutter brand 6 ft. "bush hog" hits my rear tires when I raise the lift. I'm also having the same issue with my 6 ft box blade and 6 ft disc. The tractor is a 1977 model Massey Ferguson 245. The rear tires are 13.6 X 28. I've been told that this is the correct size tires for this tractor. The lift arms are the correct length, 33 1/2 inches center to center and approx. 35 inches overall length.
I've tried adjusting the top link, with little success. I can't gain enough clearance to raise the lift, much over half way, without hitting the rear tires.
And yes, I have tried using stabilizer bars. That doesn't help either.
I'm at my wits end here guys. I could lengthen the lift arms, but I'd rather not. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks !!!
