Ad3.152 new engine options

I have a 205 industrial with a cracked ad3.152 block rope seal, could I bolt a lip seal engine on if I went buying new?

Where is the crack? Maybe it could be repaired.

Lip seal crank may take a different flywheel, so check that too.

Maybe you could have the block bored for a repair sleeve, then finish the sleeve ID for the dry sleeve. I had a 6.354 in a White years back the block was saved that way.

Interesting. I didn't know that. Here are some photos of the cracks. Additional, I measured the bores to be 1-3 thou over spec...not sure if this matters since the liners still fit tight inside the bores.
