What's that noise?

I'm not sure if the noise I hear is brakes or something like bearings. When I first start the mf65 and start backing up, there is a noise that sounds almost like a loud horn that travels up through the fenders making it louder. It's on the right side and sounds like it's coming from the right rear wheel area maybe. But after backing and applying the brakes and going forward it stops. The right brake when applied by itself locks and slides the tire, the left does not do this. Any input on this? Brakes bad? Bearings bad? Is there anything else that I can do to troubleshoot this?
Thanks!

It sounds like your brakes are sticking. There are 4 steel balls
in the brake actuator that can get rusty and bind up. You could
try backing the adjustment off and see if that changes anything.
It could also be something going on in the planetary. I would
make sure they have oil in them.

Something else to do is grab the top of the rear wheel, push and pull it back and
forth toward the seat and see if there's a lot of axial play. If it's tight, it's
brakes. If you can get more than just a hair's movement, it's worn stub shaft
bearings. If it's worn bearings, you'll also hear a knocking sound as you turn a
fairly tight corner.

Thanks to the both of you, now I have a starting point in what to look for and do. I currently have the front end up on blocks, because I'm changing out the hubs and bearings so I can't shake it to test the play buy will do soon as the other parts get here and I get it back on solid ground.

Took the mf65 to a local shop near my home. He tore it down today, found that the discs were in good shape, both springs were broke. Plus the trans/hydraulic oil is milky so we're putting new oil in. Says it should be ready Thursday depending on parts arrival. I'm relieved that it's just springs.
