Perkins Block Heater

Can anyone tell me the thread pitch and length of the long screw that holds int eh freeze plug block heater on a Perkins 3.152? I just rebuilt it and can"t use it until I get that put in to stop the water from coming out. Thanks.

not sure of the size you need but all of the block heaters
I've seen has a butterfly on the back side to hold and pull the block heater into the block
If you removed the bolt completly that butterfly has droped down into the waterjacket and any bolt you put into that hole won't tighten into anything

If you are in a bind..............visit your AUTOMOTIVE after market supplier with the inside diam. of the casting core hole. (slang frost plug hole) Purchase and install plug........... you are off and running..
