MF 65 gas oil filter conversion

Is there a conversion for the 176 gas engine to a spin on oil filter ? I see them for some engines but not mine. Thank you.

Why do you want to change the filter housing?

I have a 35 and the filter is low on the side of the tractor like yours.

I have been in the woods before, ran over a small tree limb or tree, whatever, anyway I saw the limb whip back and hit that oil filter canister.

I believe, if my oil filter, had been a thin wall spin on filter it would have been crushed and the motor oil would have pump out on the ground.

I would not put a thin wall spin on filter on a tractor with it mounted that low on the motor.

I never seen a spin on oil filter kit for a MF 65 gas, just seen them for the diesels.
