MH 50 remote hydralic function.

I recently picked up a MH 50 for a friend and we are getting it ready for use. The previous owner had it set up so that it had a single hose and coupler for a remote cylinder off of the second lever control on the hydraulic valve. I added the second hose and coupler in where the second port was plugged so he could run a 2 way cylinder. Now I can get pressure on one side, but not the other, like the valve is set up to be only single acting. I do see some adjustment screws but not sure if they will change that or not. I ordered a book for it, but sadly it isn't here yet. Could use a little help!! Thanks.

Is there a screw on the front of the valve below the spool. If it is a Massey valve, It is called a switch valve. Screw it in seating it gently. It should change the valve from single acting to double acting

There should be 2 screws, change only the one near the spool for the double acting cylinder.

That did the trick! I figured it was something like that but a guy doesn't want to go turning a bunch of adjustments without knowing what the do for sure. Thanks again!
