Mr. Elliott I saw your reply to the loader on 240 and about the front mount pump on your 245. I am wanting to put a front pump on my tractor
and was wondering if you would share what brand of pump you used.

I used a pump I found at Surplus Center. They have a website and this was a Webster pump. I bought the hollow axle pivot shaft from this site. Most any SAE 1 mount gear pump will work. I drilled and tapped the front axle housing to match the SAE 1 pump flange.

Excuse me Thomas, The pump mount is SAE "A" not "1". Webster pumps are hard to find but Eaton-Cessna makes compact gear pumps that will work fine. You can look at the Surplus Center Website and they have hundreds of pumps for sale. They also have specs for the pumps telling you the Pump output at various rpms.
