MF1010,front PTO ?

Morning: I wonder if anyone here has some info on the 1010 front electric clutch?
I am wondering what normal current draw is? and possibly the "ohms" resistance of the clutch, from
power wire to battery negative post.
This unit is generating excessive!! heat, within 2 or 3 minutes of being turned on, mower deck is free turning, lifted
off the ground position, or on the ground is the same result.
Thinking slightly shorted clutch coil? worn clutch pad(s)?
Research before taking things apart.

There are 3 adjusting bolts on the clutch. I can't recall right of the top of my head the setting but if you tighten all 3 the same amount it may solve your problem. I just found a link to adjustment:

just a follow up : The link you gave me was a good source and after doing the 3 flats adjustment all is good again,
expect it will need a re-check once the snow goes.....
