I have a massey harris mustang with a continental 140 engine will a 162 fit the mustang it's from a 101 junior

It will fit. The 140 and 162 are basically the same block. The cubic inch comes from the difference in the bore size. You will probably have to use the Mustang bell housing. I mow with a 22 RC chassis that has a 162 ci in it. It has a front axle off of a 22 standard and pulls a MF 6 foot finishing mower very easily.
