How to adjust the draft lever?

Took the MF30B out on the dirt road today. This is new to me.I raise and lower the gannon with the inside lever. Now what am I supposed to do with the draft lever? Some places the box overflows. which way do I move the lever???

Usually the draft lever stays fully in the back or raised position when using the inner position lever....when using the draft lever the position lever stays raised but it can set the lifting height....in other words it doesn't have to be fully raised....A general rule is implements that work above the
ground use the position lever and implements that penetrate the ground use the draft......You will find two marks on the quadrant, these are about the halfway mark and are a float or neutral position....slightly to either side will set your depth in the ground.....hope that helps?......Sam

My MF [ in my case a MF-240-S ] manual has very similar statements. I think most all MF's aer similar. There's three adjustments;
RESPONSE CONTROL; the little fast-slow [rabbit-turtle] lever mounted down on right side of transmission housing.
DRAFT-CONTROL LEVER; the outboard lever samn40 was discussing.
POSITION-CONTROL LEVER; the inboard lever.

For plowing or in-ground work, where you may find heavy-going; response-control in "slow", inboard position-control lever all the way up in "transport", and you use the outboard draft-control lever to adjust plow location.
For bush-hogging, or above-ground work where you won't hook onto anything; response in "slow", outboard draft-control lever all the way up, and you use the inboard position-control lever to adjust bush-hog height.

I believe the response control adjusts how fast implements drop back down towards the ground.
I believe the other levers let a plow ride up a bit if it hits difficult / heavy ground conditions.
As to mechanically how this all works, I'm curious.
