Re power a massey 33

I have a 1954 massey harris 33 that I would like to repower. Any one have any ideas what would make a some what easy install?

Thanks Howard

An engine from a 44, 333 or 444 would be a basic bolt in. Continental engines (flat heads) found in a 30 or 44-6 would also drop in. Pretty sure that the engines used in Massey combines of that era will also fit right in. Any later OHV engine will probably require some modification, esp to allow clearance for the starter. I did have a 55 MH that someone did an excellent job of installing a 3-71 Detroit Diesel, so most anything is possible...Ben

I repowered a MH30 with a. BMC diesel, a little bit of
screwin' around but worth the effort. I would have used the
motor out of our 270 if the neufy wasn't sittin here
already.
