zenith carb model 10184 faulty

I have a model 10184 zenith on my tractor cleaned and rebuilt. Tractor runs
but not good. If I take the bowl plug out the brass one on the bottom left of
picture when idling gas of coarse comes out the question is why does it run
excellent then? I can put the plug against the hike where it goes and it runs
like crap. What's going on?

If your talking about the brass flood drain brass plug simple your float is set wrong or is leaking and by removing it your letting the gas out that is causing it to flood the engine. That brass plug should also be open to let fuel leak out so it need to be cleaned well also
