backhoe question

I am looking at a 50 tractor loader backhoe. The tractor runs, and the loader works OK. The hoe, however, can move, but has no real power. Does one pump feed both the loader and the hoe? I don't know what series it is other than "early". Any input on the machine and the current problem will be appreciated.

I have a 72 mf20 tlb and on it it uses a front pump to work both loader and back hoe
i suspect that either it has a plugged filter or one of the hoses to the hoe is plugged or the control head has a blockage
they are fairly simple in their setup

Sounds like they are running it off the hydraulic pump for the 3 point, no where near the volume needed to run a backhoe. Is there a external pump on the front of the tractor?
