hyd. pump bypass valve

Hello, I don't suppose there is any way to change the bypass valve on the pump on my 202 through the access hole on the right side of the case. Figured out why it would barely lift, took the cover off and looked in while the pump was trying to lift and see oil squirting out the little holes on the bypass valve.

You are talking about the relief valve and yes it can be changed through the side cover hole. Drain the oil down to where you can clearly see
the relief valve and you should be able to see the hex head on the end of the valve that screws into the pump. Slide a wrench over the end of
the valve and down onto the hex head. You should be able to loosen it and then turn it out. Reverse the procedure to install the new valve.
