TO 30 oil seepage at exhaust manifold- Recommendations?

Gents,
In the ongoing rebuild of TO30 the exhaust manifold gasket needs replaced and I have noticed oil seepage- small amount coming from this area when engine runs. What does this oil seepage indicate as far as worn rings, etc?
I will be going into the engine next to add new cylinders, lifters, pistons, etc to rebuild it.
Just wondering what small oil seepage indicates.

At the very least, it means the gasket is leaking a little and condensed combustion products are sneaking past the gasket.

Checking your dipstick from time to time will give you a better idea of how much oil it burns vs. looking at exhaust manifold leaks!
