175 wiring issues

As most know by now I have 175 MF. Good little tractor. Anyway, I am trying to get my gauges to work. I have a 1wire alternator installed and charging the battery. I am really in need of a diagram on how to connect the rest of the electrical part of the gauges.

Lights are run off ignition switch to light switch and the gas gauge is run of the volt/amp gauge. That way the gas gauge is active when the tractor is running and the lights shot off when the key is shut off or can be shut off when they are not needed during the day time. Since we do not know what tractor you have, gas or diesel you can find some information from the agcopartsbooks.com on-line. Just sign in as a guest..

Sorry, its a 67 or 68 175 perkins diesel. I am trying to refit all the dash gauges. It has a 1 wire 65 amp alternator. Anyway, I have kinda figured it out some what. My big question is whether or not the 6 volt electrical stuff will work on the 12 volt system? I am going to replace the ammeter with a volt meter. It is the oil pressure switch, fuel gauge and sending unit I am worried about not working on the 12 volt system. Any of you guys work on the this problem before? I am possitive I am not only one to try this.
